Editing and Deleting Content
Who Can Edit:
Content in Community Questions follows clear ownership rules:
- Authors can edit their own questions and answers
- Space Admins can delete any questions or answers
- Other users cannot edit content they didn't create
Editing Your Content:
- Navigate to your question or answer
- Click the "Edit" button
- Make your changes
- Click "Save"
Note: Edit history is tracked, so all changes are visible to the community.
Deleting Content:
If you're the author or a space admin:
- Navigate to the content you want to delete
- Click the "Delete" button
- Confirm the deletion
Warning: Deleting a question also deletes all of its answers. This action cannot be undone.
Accepting Answers
As a question author, you have the ability to mark one answer as "accepted" to indicate it solved your problem.
How to Accept an Answer:
- Navigate to your question
- Find the answer that best solved your problem
- Click the checkmark icon next to that answer
- The answer is now marked as accepted
Note: Only the question author can accept an answer, and you cannot accept your own. You can change the accepted answer at any time.
