Control Application analytics for your site

- Confluence administrators can turn optional Application analytics on or off for everyone on the site in Global Settings. Existing customers start with it off; genuinely new customers start with it on. Saved choices survive updates and reinstalls. Other active windows normally stop within 30 seconds of an administrator switching it off.
Keep Q&A open when following external links

- External links in question, answer, and comment text open a new tab. Links within your Confluence site still navigate in the current tab; modifier clicks and attachment downloads keep their usual behavior.
Refresh search pages without replacing their links

- Index questions refreshes existing search & Rovo pages in place, preserving their page links. Reindexing with accepted answers only removes mirrored pages for unanswered questions.
Faster Questions startup

Automatic setup for new installations

- Fresh installations set up the Global Questions space and enable global Q&A, questions in every space, inclusion of space questions, and search & Rovo mirroring. Existing saved settings are preserved. Administrators still need to check users' space and Q&A permissions.
Return to Tags after creation

Prevent empty answers

- Posting or updating an empty answer now shows Answer is required. Add content and try again; images and attachments remain valid answer content.
Ask a question from the page editor

- Insert Question while editing a Confluence page to create a question with the usual question form and add an inline link. The page’s space is selected by default when Questions is enabled there.
- Paste an existing question URL into the page editor to insert its inline chip.
- The browser address follows the current question in global and space Questions, so you can copy it directly. Refresh and browser Back/Forward retain the question.
- Inline question links show answer status by default, with an option to hide it in the macro settings.
- Questions are created immediately, independently of page publishing. Editing the link or saving the page reuses the existing question.
Find app administration in one place

- Open Community Questions under Apps in Confluence settings for Settings, Getting started, and Import. Existing settings and import options remain available.
- Get started opens guidance for asking your first question, sharing it, and accepting a helpful answer. Configure opens Settings.
- Turning off Show in the Apps menu hides the global entry. Getting started then explains how to ask questions in a space.
- Open global questions is available in the Global questions settings card when global questions are enabled.
Read and write comfortably in dark mode

Remove questions and labels after deleting a tag

Quick Search & Rovo Integration

When enabled, the app mirrors your resolved Q&A content to regular Confluence pages. This makes your knowledge base searchable - users can find answers directly from Confluence's quick search bar, and Rovo AI can draw on your Q&A content when answering questions.
By default, only questions with accepted answers are indexed, ensuring search results lead to validated, helpful content. You can optionally index all questions and answers. Enable this feature globally for all spaces or selectively per-space. Use the "Index questions" button to backfill your existing questions.
